End the problem yourself! You only need a few minutes to retrieve the radio code of your 6000 CD
Find the serial number for your 6000 CD radio on-screen on 2004 or newer models or on the back label on older models (RDS E-O-N). To print the V series on display, you must turn on and press both buttons 1 and 6. You can see different information appear, but we are only interested in the last one that comes out. It begins every time with the letter V. Example: V123456
Note: In some random units, only the serial number appears when pressing 1 and 6 and it has this format: FDD2004V120122. We can also use it to generate the code.
If the last sequence that comes out does not start with the letter V, you have to understand that randomly, some 6000 CD stereos do not show the serial on the screen. The only way we have to find it is by taking out the radio. On the case, there is a sticker with the serial V.
Enter your 6000 CD radio code using the one to four buttons. If we have to enter the code 5723 for example, we do it like this: we repeatedly press button 1 for five times, button 2 for seven times, button three twice and button 4 for three times. To confirm the code, we press button 5.
Changed car battery and ford wanted 75 quid for the code to the radio. Long story short this website is absolutely brilliant!!! Removed radio got seriel number got code it was that easy!!! Truly thankful. If there was more stars I'd rate more!!!!

I was informed by my local Ford garage that l would need to remove the radio for the code or plug in a ford obd monitor to get code then go onto the Ford data base . Not so this was easy and the code obtained in less then 2 mins. Thanks for putting this information out.
